To the social workers
And the emergency workers
Who wake up daily planning to control crises
And make our society livable
Saving lives
The firemen, the Security forces
The women who sweep our roads
Especially those in Ilorin
And their counterparts in OAU
Really, people can be dirty, Kilode
These women work, they do
And are constantly at the mercy
Of corrupt leaders, slashed salaries
Inadequate working equipment
And so on
Yet working passionately
Showing up daily and early
I’m grateful for your efforts
I am theimisiOluwa
