Some of our deacons in church cannot be trusted with political power, just as some of our pastors cannot be trusted with supernatural power. We have voted for some before and the end result was unaccountable billions of naira in their bank accounts. I even heard one of the previous CAN leaders in Ilorin, who sholud be an elder in his church, embezzled money meant to distribute food to fellow officials at a particular festive period; the end result, he gave them few cups of rice instead of a bag of rice per beneficiary.
What of pastors who have turned the spiritual priviledges they have to commit various atteocities. Let them continue, their time will soon be over.
