Worrying and Trusting.

Sometimes, the most difficult thing to do is to pick on the humility of a child and simply talk to God about our situations. At times, it seems some situations are easier for God to be involved in than others especially, when it is someone else responsible for our problems; we analyze, criticize and worry ourselves over what the person did, didn’t do or should have done; we curse, get angry, allow ourselves to be so worked up and forget the only thing that can help: ‘sharing it with God. It has become so easy to wine and dwell on fact that the situation is beyond remedy or that the person has done the unpardonable that we fail to do the simplest thing: allow God to fix us.
When did I forget my God who listens to every thought of my heart, who feels every pain in my heart? Have I grown so spiritually matured that I’ve forgotten the words that once filled my lips,”Prayer works for everything”. When did I get to that point when I now worry and bother myself over my problems? How soon have I forgotten the peace that encompassed my soul even when my problems had looked insurmountable?
No! I won’t fall for that trick; worrying and crying over issues.
Today, I rise. I clean my tears. I kneel humbly before my maker, father and keeper and speak into his ears. I let him take charge.
I remind myself his many words that kept me in the days of my loneliness:
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”. Romans 8:28.
“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God”. Philippians 4:6.

Today, I choose Trusting God over Worrying about my issues.

Additional Scriptures: Matthew 6:25-34; Matthew 7:7-11.
