To the Nursing mothers
With their joyful womb’s fruit
You are a blessing to this world
You’re the reason this world is still here
You who endured the months
Travailing through the pains of child birth
Yet Nurturing us with tenderness
Enduring our delicate excesses
Keeping sleepless nights
I keep wondering how my mom coped
With my stubbornness as a child
But you mothers are awesome like that
With your heart as large as your cooking pot
I’m grateful
You did not give up
You did not abort
You did not abandon the child
You have done well
Thank you
