To the Party Servers
What humility you hold
I’ve been there and done that
Travelling across town and cities
Rarely in comfortable vehicles
Cladded in our white ‘parking shirt’
We must report by 7am
We don’t return till late night
Running errands around tables
Rewarded, yet insulted
Treated as common low-lifers
Yet, we carry geniuses inside
But who cares?
It’s just a stepping stone
A phase, a passing season
Just to make extra bucks
So be diligent
I see greatness in you
And I hope you let it out
From a concerned event participant
